Robert Hunter is best known as a non-performing lyricist for the Grateful Dead. He is also a recording artist in his own right, a poet, and a translator. Hunter began contributing lyrics to the Dead at the invitation of his friend, Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia, as of the group's third album, Aoxomoxoa, in 1969. Since then, he wrote some of the Dead's most memorable words, including "Truckin'" ("What a long, strange trip it's been") and the 1987 comeback hit "Touch of Grey." Hunter began recording solo albums on the Dead's record label in 1974 and continued sporadically since. ~ William Ruhlmann

Rushmere[a] is the upcoming fifth studio album by British folk rock band Mumford & Sons. It is set to be released on 28 March 2025 through Island Records and Glassnote Records. Their first album in nearly seven years, it marks the longest gap between studio albums for the band. It is also their first studio recording following the departure of guitarist and banjoist Winston Marshall in 2021.

Simply titled XI, COLOSSEUM’s eleventh studio album brings another exciting chapter in the band’s recording history, which began in 1969 with their debut Those Who Are About To Die Salute You. The nine songs on XI showcase the current COLOSSEUM line-up at their best – a group of friends, long-time colleagues and like-minded people honouring the memory of founding members Jon Hiseman and Dick Heckstall-Smith without sounding outdated, and who once again cover the wide spectrum of blues, jazz-rock and prog that COLOSSEUM is known for, in a dynamic and inspired manner.
