Nazih Borish , oud player and composer of Syrian origin, presents his new album, Roots of Strings . This is the fourth release in the collection of recordings born from the artistic residencies of the Centre des musiciens du monde in Montreal.

Jack White is an American musician, producer, director, writer, and actor. He is most well-known as the frontman of the band The White Stripes, though he has been in several bands and collaborated with various artists. His solo album "Lazaretto", inhabits an exciting place in White's expansive discography as the follow-up to 2012's Gold-certified international #1 "Blunderbuss", and will be preceded by first single and title track "Lazaretto," have been released later this month.

Timeless, known as Time to Say Goodbye in the USA and Canada, is the fifth album by classical crossover soprano Sarah Brightman & the London Symphony Orchestra. The album went gold or platinum in 21 countries, selling over 1.4 million copies in the US alone, and topped the Billboard Classical Crossover chart in the US for 35 weeks. SACD 5.1 release of the album is also entitled Time to Say Goodbye and follows the American track listing.

Eden is the sixth album by English soprano Sarah Brightman. Similar to Brightman's later album La Luna, Eden juxtaposed English popular songs with Italian opera arias. This was a departure from her previous albums which were almost entirely sung in English, such as Fly. Eden retained elements of Timeless, which had strongest classical influences. Eden contains one classic rock interpretation, "Dust in the Wind".

La Luna (Italian and Spanish for "the moon") is the seventh album recorded by English soprano Sarah Brightman in 2000. The album combines pieces written by classical and modern composers. American born conductor James Gaffigan is the Chief Conductor of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, and the Principal Guest Conductor of the ensemble featured here, the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. The Jacksons were a popular American Soul/R&B group, formerly the Jackson 5, before leaving Motown Records. After their departure from Motown, the band changed the name to The Jacksons. The group's new recording contract with Epic offered them a more lucrative agreement than they had enjoyed with Motown, although at first they seemed to have exchanged one artistic strait-jacket for another. Their initial releases were written, arranged and produced by Gamble And Huff, whose expertise ensured that the Jacksons sounded professional, but slightly anonymous. "Combat Rock" is the fifth studio album by The Clash and was released in May 1982. Originally conceived as a double album, "Combat Rock" was edited down to a single together with legendary producer Glyn Johns. The album was recorded in New York and soaked up the atmosphere of the city's vibrant hip-hop and graffiti art scenes, mixing funk, rock, hip-hop and reggae. "Combat Rock" also featured a cameo from beat poet Allen Ginsberg and paid homage to the Scorsese film Taxi Driver. The record was the last to feature the classic Strummer-Jones-Simonon-Headon line-up.

Their last album to feature drummer Mike Portnoy, it was produced by John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy and was mixed by Paul Northfield. The album's themes center around disturbing or difficult personal experiences of John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy.

Vespertine is the fifth studio album by the Icelandic recording artist Björk. On this album, Björk creates a quiet, introverted world of microbeats and personal lyrics. On the cover she can be seen wearing the swan dress (designed by Marjan Pejoski) that caused a stir at the 2001 Academy Awards.

Medúlla is the sixth studio album by Icelandic singer, songwriter, and musician Björk. The title derives from the Latin word for "marrow". The album is almost entirely a cappella and constructed with human vocals. Medúlla received two Grammy Award nominations and reached number one in several record charts.
