Born in Wolfsberg, Carinthia, jazz violinist and singer Marion J. Stimpfl (25) recorded her debut album "Am Ondan End " with her newly formed quartet, self-produced under Bruno Singer (Sonus Records, Klagenfurt). The contemporary jazz album features elegantly integrated lyrics written in the Carinthian dialect and establishes the violin as an independent solo instrument. Marion Wolf studied jazz violin and vocals - her compositions are diverse and unique. The album was recorded almost entirely in one-takes, with improvisational elements serving as the music’s supporting pillars. Am Ondan End will be released on September 5th, 2025, whereas the first two tracks—“Wolfsberg (Returning)” and “Otmen (Feel Into What’s Here For You)” were already released as teaser.
