Echo-jazz-award winner Heiko Fischer is back with a new band, new album and new sound. Since his last work "Gateway", the Wahlhamburger has left three years to research and to adjust itself. An album has emerged, which is new in its actuality, depth and its own sound. The studied physicist tries to find out what music and physics have in common, and what is perhaps also the difference between them, in "General Relativity". The album is inspired by the sound aesthetics of modern indie artists such as James Blake: Fischer has compared the sound of an acoustic jazz band with an electronic sound component, which is based on the modernity of modern indie / electric productions.
