Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (25 January 1927 – 8 December 1994), also known as Tom Jobim, was a Brazilian composer, pianist, guitarist, songwriter, arranger and singer. Considered one of the great exponents of Brazilian music, Jobim internationalized bossa nova and, with the help of important American artists, merged it with jazz in the 1960s to create a new sound with popular success. As such he is sometimes known as the "father of bossa nova".

A completely new quartet with a chamber dimension, which is located in an ill-defined place between classical music and jazz. The writing may recall authors such as Bartok, Ravel, and Debussy, finding within itself moments of free improvisation and compositional methods derived from the contemporary jazz dimension.

French cellist and composer Vincent Courtois' tribute to novelist Jack London, together with his trio featuring Robin Fincker on clarinet & tenor saxophone, and Daniel Erdmann on tenor saxophone, flows from intimate chamber jazz to rock rhythms and electronic influenced textures. Recorded in London's hometown of Oakland, California after the trio travelled to the United States to play this music in London's footsteps.

From Cambridge to Cape Town to Carnegie Hall, the Harvard Krokodiloes have delighted audiences worldwide with their unique blend of a cappella harmony and humor. Founded back in 1946 at the historic Hasty Pudding Club, the Krokodiloes are Harvard University's oldest and finest a cappella singing group, now performing for audiences all over the Greater Boston area, the United States, and the world. Having derived their name from the ancient Greek word for crocodile, the group now consists of twelve tuxedo-clad male undergraduates, singing music from the Great American Songbook and beyond.

Summer Changes is the new album from legendary vibraphonist Wolfgang Lackerschmid. Recorded September 16 & 17, 2018 at the Traumraum Tonstudio, Augsburg, Germany, this new album comes on the heals of several recent Dot Time Records Legends releases that have featured Lackerschmid alongside trumpeter Chet Baker, including the critically acclaimed Quintet Sessions and Ballads For Two. Each track on Summer Changes was written and composed by Lackerschmid, with the exception of “Rosemary’s Baby” and “Poinciana.” The tracklist exhibits a collection of 8 tunes that nod to the unique changing of seasons — the heat of the summer in particular — and a handful of sentimental memories for the artist, including a ballad for his mother.

Sci-fi fusion trio Consider the Source began in the underbelly of NYC performing improvisational heavy sets soaked in Indian and Middle Eastern styles. Once the band realized they had something truly original they decided to take it on the road leading to 15 years of touring the U.S. in addition to Israel, Germany, Turkey and a trip to India. Their studio catalog has evolved into a wide range of progressive rock, classical, jazz and Eastern European music mixed with many other styles from around the world. Hailing from Kielce, Poland, Marcin PAJAK is a London-based guitarist who has been apparently inspired by the progressive rock Giants like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Steven Wilson, Opeth or Riverside. His solo debut album "Who I Am" released in September 2014 and the second one "Other Side" in April 2018 were respectively recorded in the same year at Marcin's own studio in London / UK, mixed and mastered in Serakos studio in Warsaw / Poland. The third full-length creation entitled "Last Day" recorded in collaboration with El Gordo MURKIN (vocals, lyrics) and W.R.ONA (bass) was out upon 13th November 2020.

As the school year begins, he learns that the Headmaster is stealing the souls of students to power the captured Spectacular Machine. Swindlebeast then steals the machine, goes on an epic adventure to get help from the wise Monk Key and destroys the evil school!

In her debut album, cabaret performer Stephanie Pope chooses songs, mostly familiar, from Bob Fosse's final Broadway musical (more like a revue) Big Deal, which also was the vehicle for Pope's Broadway debut. Like a seasoned cabaret performer, Pope presents a variety of deliveries which are likely more engaging seeing them live than hearing them on a CD. Nonetheless, helped by some outstanding arrangements and musicians well primed to perform them, Pope comes as close to an in-person performance on CD as one can hope for.
