Kokoroko, the London-based jazz collective, has released a new single, Three Piece Suit, featuring Azekel. The track pays homage to the Nigerian immigrant experience and showcases their signature afrobeat and jazz blend, with added funk, Brazilian nose flute, and synth lines. Inspired by conversations about their grandfathers' migration to London in the 1960s, percussionist Onome Edgeworth describes the song as a tribute to a dapper generation that laid the groundwork for today’s world. The single precedes their new EP Get The Message, out November 1 via Brownswood Recordings, focusing on joy, community, and relationships. This is Kokoroko’s first release since Could We Be More Remixes, a critically acclaimed project that secured their Top 40 UK Albums Chart debut. The band will embark on a UK tour, ending with a major headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
