On September 13th, 1978, the RAMONES were guests in the TV-studios of Radio Bremen. It was the first tv-appearance of the band in Europe at all. For the at that time successful tv-series MUSIKLADEN they played 25 titles in more than 50 minutes and left an ecstatic audience. This performance is pretty famous and here is this unbelievable appearance - unabridged with all encores for the first time on vinyl & DVD.

Christopher Joseph Ward, aka CJ Ramone, who replaced original bassist Dee Dee Ramone in the Ramones in 1989 and played with the seminal Punk Rock band until 1996, returns. After works with Los Gusanos and Bad Chopper, he had entering studio in late May/early June 2012 and done the first record under his own name. The results that named Reconquista is more like a tribute to the Ramones, and enlists some excellent players to assist with the album. Mindfunk was an interesting and innovative American alternative hard rock band that emerged in the late 80's. They released three albums, the last one in 1995, before disbanding. The New Rochelles are a Ramones-core pop-punk band from New York and there isn't much else to it. Not special and not original in any sense. Their homepage says: "too dumb to care". This compilation from Kid Tested Records combines all band's releases from 2010 to 2015. You are gonna get three or four chords strung together, '60s girl group-inspired melodies, and topics that range from the the juvenile to the ridiculous. Still, even though you are expecting it, it is done pretty well.

The Nerdy Jugheads is the Japanese Punk Rock band from Tokyo, formed in 2012. The are play the Ramones' type of Pop Punk that deeply in veins of Screeching Weasel & Teenage Bottlerocket. Their first EP "First Warning" was released on the local Japanese label; the second EP was released as part of Split 7" with American band - The Young Rochelles. This "collection" includes both these EPs.

Led by Evil Presly & Willy B, the Independents boasted one of the more balanced 1990s attacks of first wave punk, rockabilly, ska, and pop melody. With a B-movie horror bent out of the Misfits, and the backing of Joey Ramone, the South Carolina band quickly amassed a loyal punk following, and a semi-regular spot in the annual Warped Tour line-up. In addition to five tracks, there's a hidden track that's a cover of AFI's "God Called In Sick Today", and this CD is enhanced.

But the Horror Section take a different approach and glean inspiration from classic Lookout Records bands like The Queers, Screeching Weasel and Lillingtons, an for the most part, it works!
