South African model and singer, native English speaker, originally from South Africa, Nicole Magolie is best known in Italy through her presence on the main television networks. She has taken part in many TV programs on the RAI networks (most recently in the cast of the RAI 2 program “Voice Anatomy” conducted by Pino Insegno). She appears in numerous national commercials as a protagonist, including that of the last European Football Championships and is currently testimonial of Matera European Capital of Culture.
MONTECARLO DIAMONDS is the first album of original songs, performed by the alluring voice of South African singer and model Nicole Magolie, and produced by the icon of nu-jazz/lounge music, Papik. Ten tracks wrotten by the two artists. These tracks encompass a range of musical styles, including hip-hop, soul, jazz, dance, and R&B, offering a diverse listening experience. The album is characterized by its highly engaging sound, marked by Nicole's captivating vocals and Papik's distinctive style. The album's release was preceded by the introduction of two singles: "Montecarlo," one of the most-played tracks on major Italian and French radio stations throughout the summer, and "Walkin Walkin." The focus track for this release is the single "Crazy for You," a nu-disco-inspired track with an '80s flavor.
Back in May, Papik and Nicole Magolie released "Montecarlo" which we tipped heavily. Little did we know that it would end up as a full album. The album is titled "Montecarlo Diamonds" and all tracks feature Nicole Magolie on vocals. It's full of good tracks but the ones, apart from the previous single, that particularly jump out are "Crazy for You", "My Love Is True" and the Latin favoured "Why Don't You Know". If you're regular visitor, you'lll know that we like a good deep ballad or two so "Cupid's Bow" ticks that box. However, as said, all tracks are good and it's one of those rare albums that you can play all through without the temptation to skip tracks.

Papik is a Nu-Jazz project which is the brainchild of Italian producer Nerio Poggi who is pretty prolific having produced sixteen singes and now a third album in 2023.

Nicole Magolie is a South African entertainer (singer/dancer) who is currently a singer at Hotel De Paris in Montecarlo and Saint Tropez so perhaps that's how the title of the new single came about? She released an album of jazz standards "Don't Ever Go" in April 2022 and the May release appears to be only her second single.
