CNC Software, Inc. has released Update 1 (Patch 1) of Mastercam 2026 is a powerful computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software used for designing and creating parts, products, and toolpaths. It is widely used in the manufacturing industry, specifically in the areas of aerospace, automotive, medical, and energy sectors.

Mastercam 2026 launches with advanced tools, AI-enhanced CAM intelligence, offering a range of new productivity tools, advanced machining capabilities, and AI-driven CAM intelligence. The release features a fully redesigned Solid Hole Functionality, offering greater control over hole-making in solid models. Featuring a new three-panel interface (geometry selection, hole style, and advanced options), this tool simplifies the creation of complex hole configurations, cutting down programming time and improving accuracy. Tool management has also seen a significant upgrade, it also introduces several powerful enhancements for complex geometries. Safety Zone Motion Priority adds three new prioritization options that intelligently optimize toolpaths, reduce unnecessary air cutting, and increase overall machining efficiency. This release also brings expanded mill-turn capabilities with Classic Mill Toolpath Support, enabling use of legacy toolpaths, such as Surface Rough and Wireframe Finish, within mill-turn environments. Updates to PrimeTurning now include improved angled cuts, pinch turning, and finishing enhancements for more complex turning requirements.

Mastercam is a leading CAD/CAM solution that offers advanced design tools and machining features. Mastercam is currently the most widely used CAM software in the world. Designed for and by machining experts, Mastercam CAM products offer solutions for milling, turning, mill-turn, Swiss turning, wire EDM, and routing.
