F5: Warplane for the World (Repost)

In 1989 the Northrop F-5 celebrated the 30th anniversary of its first flight. First developed as a simple, cheap, lightweight fighter, the F-5 has to date been sold to more countries than any other combat aircraft in the western world, with the possible exception of the North American F-86 Sabre.
