In 1981, they released their self-titled debut album, Kix, featuring "Atomic Bombs", "Heartache", "Contrary Mary", "The Itch", and "The Kid". "Love at First Sight" instantly became a concert favorite. "Kix Are for Kids" creatively merged the name of the band with two popular cereals of the 1960s and 1970s, Kix (that featured an atomic bomb commercial) and the Trix Rabbit.
Celtic Thunder is a Celtic music group, composed of five Celtic male soloists who perform both solo and ensemble numbers. Celtic Thunder debuted in August 2007 at the Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland.
The Enya-Related Artists web page was the first online source to reveal that that Hardiman and Dowdall recorded earlier under the monniker "Shannon" on the Celtic Classics (Honest Music (USA) HON CD 0007, 1995) album. Themes developed within the album (especially "Ring of Kerry" to "Celtic Dream") can be heard recurring in Lord Of The Dance. The album also has an 'Enya-esque' flavour to it; the artists clearly capitalised on the rise of this style of music in the mid-1990s in creating the recordings.
Celtic tales is known for its eclectic style with songs ranging from a soloist to an ensemble focus. The group is backed by the Celtic Concert Orchestra, and their live shows are known for the use of dramatic effects via lighting and choreography as well as a stage set resembling an ancient stone pathway suggestive of those referenced in Celtic lore .
