Paradise Cinema is a project led by multi-instrumentalist Jack Wyllie (Portico Quartet/Szun Waves) with contributions from Khadim Mbaye, Tons Sambe and Laurence Pike. The first, eponymous, Paradise Cinema record, released in 2020, was recorded in Dakar and featured the dense rhythms of Mbalax music combining with Wyllie’s textural saxophone and synth playing.

Hijazz Project is a gathering place of the most famous musicians in Turkey. Each one individually has their own bands and personal projects, play in different festivals, working in different productions. Hijazz Project for them, is a way to surrender their togetherness in this music of synthesis they make hand in hand, without any ego, matching to the idea of Mevlana and Sufism. They play from Hamamizade Ismail Dede Efendi to W.A.Mozart… from Hasselman to Nayi Osman Dede.. from J.S.Bach to Tamburi Cemil Bey.. mixed with the jazzy mood, powered by Budapest Symphonical Orchestra conducted by Alparslan Ertungaalp. HiJazz Project's first concert was supported by Turkiye Is Bankasi in 2003. in 2007 the band is supported by Arif Mardin (R.I.P), who had great effort for Hijazz Project to perform in the Istanbul Jazz Festival. He made it but passed away on the concert day. So we dedicate our 2007 Istanbul Jazz Festival performance to his loving memory. He was the only music producer in the world who made the world a better place.

Gary Burton & Keith Jarrett is an album by vibraphonist Gary Burton and pianist Keith Jarrett with guitarist Sam Brown, bassist Steve Swallow and drummer Bill Goodwin, recorded in 1970 and released on the Atlantic label in 1971. Jarrett also plays soprano saxophone on this recording. The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow stated: "Elements of pop music, rock, country and the jazz avant-garde are used in the mixture of styles and the results are quite logical".

The Bird Of A Thousand Voices by Tigran Hamasyan is a mesmerizing musical journey that showcases the artist's virtuosity and creativity. Released by Believe Digital Gmbh, this album features a fusion of jazz, folk, and classical influences, creating a unique and captivating listening experience.

Nemo was a French collective formed in 1972. Their line-up included François Bréant, the keyboardist and lead vocalist, already acclaimed musician on French prog scene (often collaborating with various members of Magma); Marc Perru on guitars and vocal duties, Pascal Arroyo on bass and piano, Clement Bailly on drums, Emmanuel Lacordaire on percussion and guitar, Ronnie James on trumpet, Albert Marcoeur on saxophones and clarinets (another unique avant artist), Claude Samard on dobro, Arthur Young on trumpet and José Bartel on tumbas and gongs. The band released two albums, ''Nemo'' and ''Doin' Nuthin''' in '73 and '74 respectively. Their music will be appealing to one who like 70's funk and jazz rock, but with edgy experimentation meandering from avant overtones to classical harmonies. They disbanded in 1975.

This Friday Sept 6 we’re releasing a session we recorded named ‘Infrared’. This was a fully improvised recording of drums, sax and taishokoto in a studio wired with overwhelming reverb pumping back at us. The recording was also captured in a beautifully processed film shot by Lisa IndigoBurns Wormsley.

This end-of-the-millennium quartet session probably best defines all the inherent contradictions in who ECM attracts to the label – what kind of musician records for them – and what concerns these artists and ECM's chief producer (and creator) Manfred Eicher hold in common. This set, although clearly fronted by Markus Stockhausen and Arild Andersen on brass and bass, respectively, allows space for the entire quartet to inform its direction. Héral and Rypdal are not musicians who can play with just anybody; their distinctive styles and strengths often go against the grain of contemporary European jazz and improvised music. Of the 11 compositions here, four are collectively written, with two each by Andersen and Stockhausen.

Reissue of the band's sole album, recorded in 1977. This a jazz-rock album with few zeuhl elements, references are more likely to be found into Herbie Hancock's Headhunters. High energy involved, good vibes, passionate playing and fabulous bass lines of Alain Lecointe. Led by composer Jacques Liot, the album features a stellar crew of musicians : Alain Lecointe on bass (Serge Bringolf's Strave, Alain Eckert, Hamsa Music), Richard Raux (Magma 1st incarnation), Lionel Ledissez (Ergo Sum) etc. Nadavati belongs to the few 70s French bands that went that way : Spheroe, Chute Libre, Transit Express, CCCP. Also comparable to the recent album of Planeto Imaginario - both exploring instrumental landscapes between jazz-rock & progressive.
