Weezer founding member and original bassist, Matt Sharp, while working on a series of “lost-albums” from the cutting room floor of his creative-life, stumbled upon a curious multi-track reel of analog tape. This mysterious reel found at the bottom of a treasure chest of other master recordings just happened to contain Weezer's very first studio sessions.

The new and 6th album of the band will be named WEEZER and codename THE RED ALBUM. More than three years after MAKE BELIEVE, the band in Cuomo (more than 7 million albums sold worldwide) is back and in great shape given the first single “Pork & Beans”.

Weezer (commonly known as the Blue Album) is the eponymous debut studio album by American rock band Weezer, released on May 10, 1994 by DGC Records. It was produced by The Cars frontman Ric Ocasek and recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City from August to September 1993.

90's alt-rockers Weezer come back this year with their tenth studio album, which is the fourth album in their ongoing series of color-themed self-titled albums, with this one being the color white. The album influenced by their home state of California and the beach, it reflects a sunny sound.

Los Angeles, CA's very own, Weezer, released their highly anticipated ninth album, "Everything Will Be Alright In The End". Produced by Ric Ocasek, who previously helmed production on the band's first and third records (The Blue Album and The Green Album), Everything Will Be Alright In The End is the band's first collection of new material in four years. Everything Will Be Alright In The End, is a stand-out gem in Weezer's vast and varied catalogue, a reflection of a much-loved band at their very best. Organized thematically around three groups of songs, it is an album that utilizes that sound from the band's earliest days to tell new stories in 2014, creating some of the finest, most heartfelt songs Weezer has ever recorded.

Following the release of "Weezer (The White Album)", the band began working on what they called "The Black Album," but as they worked, they found the songs they were writing felt more like reveries from a beach at the end of the world. Instead of forcing a different direction, they began an entirely new album; "Pacific Daydream" was born. "Pacific Daydream" - an album full of the melodic mastery and craftsmanship for which Weezer are known - is a record that navigates the uncertainty between reality and dreams, blurring the line between the listener knowing if they are daydreaming the world of the album, or if the world of the album is daydreaming them.

SZNZ: Summer is the second instalment in one of the bands most exciting projects to date: SZNZ, a four EP song cycle of sorts. Already mythical across the internet, SZNZ will, fittingly, be released at the start of every season. Each EP offers its own palette of colours, creatures, and emotions to explore. They’re also being created in real time, made in tandem with the season themselves. The projects lead single “Records” is a big classic Weezer rock song, with a chorus built around thunderous drums, chunky power chords and a memorable melody about songs that get stuck in your head, which is exactly what this one is sure to do.

Supported by three singles "Buddy Holly", "Undone" and "Say It Ain't So" this debut album brought Weezer mainstream success and eventually became certified triple-platinum in the United States.

So 2020 was going to be the year of Van Weezer - the big riffs rock album Weezer made as an homage to the metal bands they loved growing up - until, thanks to the global pandemic, it suddenly wasn't. The entire time, however, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo was busy at the piano, writing a very different album that referenced another vital musical touchstone of his youth: The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds.
