Soundgarden's major label debut, 1989's "Louder Than Love" hints at things to come with songs like "Loud Love", "Hands All Over" and "Get On The Snake". "Big Dumb Sex" was made famous thanks to a cover version on the 1993 Guns N' Roses album "The Spaghetti Incident?".

This remixed and expanded reissue of Soundgarden’s "Ultramega OK" is a long-planned “correction” of the legendary band’s Grammy-nominated debut full-length. The album was originally recorded and released in 1988 on SST Records. While the band enjoyed working with the original producer, Drew Canulette, they soon realized they weren’t quite happy with the final mix. Thus, shortly after the album’s release, the band decided to remix the album for subsequent pressings. However, success intervened: the band rapidly scored a deal with A&M and began work on their major-label debut, "Louder Than Love", and the "Ultramega OK" remix project fell by the wayside as Soundgarden climbed their way to (ultra)mega-stardom.

Beloved Seattle rock band, Soundgarden, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 2x platinum album, "Badmotorfinger", with four special reissues. This Blu-Ray Audio features the newly remastered album with three bonus tracks.

The pressure was on Soundgarden to follow up 1994's breakthrough release "Superunknown" and the band didn't disappoint with "Down On The Upside". Peaking at number two and selling well over a million copies in the US, the self-produced album spawned American rock radio hits "Burden In My Hand", "Blow Up The Outside World" and "Pretty Noose", which also went top 15 in the UK.
