Dans un futur imaginaire, où le clonage des animaux est autorisé mais celui des humains hors-la-loi. Pilote d'hélicoptère émérite, Adam Gibson a fondé avec son ami Hank Morgan une petite société de transport. Ce jour-là, il doit déposer au sommet des pistes enneigées un certain Michael Drucker, P.D.G. d'une entreprise spécialisée dans les clones d'animaux domestiques décédés. Hank lui propose de le remplacer pour qu'il rentre fêter son anniversaire au côté de sa femme Natalie et de sa fille Clara. Mais en arrivant chez lui, Adam est surpris de constater que les réjouissances ont commencé sans lui. Et pour cause : son clone est déjà dans la maison. Hank, quant à lui, est mort, assassiné en même temps que Drucker…

Arnold Schwarzenegger gets cloned by a criminal corporation headed by a svelte entrepreneur (Tony Goldwyn) who wears silver-gray clothes and fashionable tiny glasses. The main interest of this science-fiction thriller is the design of its near-future setting-close enough to us that the technology is no more than an eerie extension of current manias. There is a virtual girlfriend who offers sex the minute her partner comes home and a doll, in the form of a complaining little girl, who is disturbingly human. The point seems to be that technology is erasing the difference between the human and the nonhuman and no one much cares.

If you want to read a BivX on your PC use the Freeware VLC for instance (just have to choose track 1 or 2 in audio)

Or you can easily convert with XconvertToDVD and choose just english language for instance to burn on a DVD or DVDRW …
