Club VR is an exclusive Beverly Hills club. Weird things have happened and detective Kate Rodger is assigned the case. She lives with her boyfriend and former partner who was shot and disabled in the line of duty, and she feels so guilty that they just stopped having intimate relationships. When she is forced to enter the VR world to look for clues in the victims past sessions, she is an easy target for seduction. Meanwhile her significant other begins to suspect that he should be jealous of VR. The film remains fairly tightly focused on Kate Rodger and her investigation and growing addiction to virtual reality.
