A Wrottin-Powys, Boris, entrepreneur de pompes funebres, et Betty, femme au foyer insatisfaite, se retrouvent reunis le jour ou la belle-mere de Betty meurt, et leur amour de jeunesse recommence. Entre-temps, un nouvel entrepreneur de pompes funebres s'installe dans le village pour revolutionner le metier en ayant recours a des methodes publicitaires pour attirer le chaland.
A woman who's husband is cheating on her and an undertaker who's in love with her for ages, decide to fake her death so they can be together. However, the other town's undertaker who loves over-the-top funerals complicates things.
