Spanish presenter Adele Ucar, herself from Bilbao, lands at Madrid’s funky new Airport building – terminal 4 – designed by London’s Richard Rogers Partnership. From there she is off by taxi to the city centre, bedding down in ‘The Cats’ hostel where she will be staying for her visit. The hostel is aptly named, as ‘The Cats’ – or rather ‘Los Gatos’ – is a popular nickname that young Madrilenos have take to calling themselves. Why? Because cats come out at night.
