L’histoire d’un petit garçon dans une Jérusalem déchirée par la guerre dans les années 40-50. A l’âge de douze ans et demi, sa mère se suicide. Un traumatisme qui va bouleverser à jamais la vie du garçon qui va dès lors rejoindre le kibboutz.
