A married couple loses their children while on a family trip near some caves in Tijuana. The kids eventually reappear without explanation, but it becomes clear that they are not who they used to be, that something terrifying has changed them.

Everybody is a critic: never mind the single bad review. This was a well thought out, interesting and unsettling film. I didn't find anything about it gratuitous. Someone's comment about 'self loathing white guilt' or something to that effect is useless and negative. This director is a someone to watch. He has style, is derivative yet unique, and the images, colours, textures are excellent. The acting is understated but convincing. I see it had a limited run in LA and NY, and I hope this director gets more attention in the US. I'm sure he already has a strong following in Latin America. I found this little film fascinating. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more of his work.IMDB Reviewer
