Fight For Life Part Five: The middle years

Fight for Life, a six-part series, uses computer-generated imagery (CGI) and specially shot material to reveal the fight for survival from inside the human body. Each episode focuses on a different life stage showing the dramatic story of how the human body changes from birth, through to adulthood and old age, and the way in which it reacts when its defences are threatened.

Part Five- The middle years

Fight for Life explores the body's ability to draw on its own reserves when things start to go wrong.
Alan has a life-threatening aneurysm in the main blood vessel supplying his vital organs. The vessel is so decayed it could burst at any time, which would be fatal. Fight For Life follows the operation to replace Alan's decayed vessel with an artificial one.

Christine has been a smoker for years and the effect on her lungs has been devastating. She arrives at hospital confused and frightened - carbon dioxide is building up in her blood and poisoning her brain. Will doctors be able to save her?

John has heart failure. His weak heart makes normal life impossible and could soon kill him. The programme follows the cutting-edge procedure to implant a pacemaker using robotic surgery.

Fight for Life meets Nick, who's had a stroke. The programme recreates the events inside his brain and follows him through the procedure that will hopefully make him stroke-free in the future.

There have been reports of CRC errors upon opening the previous episodes rar files. It seems the solution, for now, is to use the RS link if you only downloaded from megaupload. I think the megaupload files , some of them, got corrupted on transfer. This is just a guess…so don't think the megaupload files are crap. I just downloaded every single file from both sets of links and the result was NO ERRORS at all. So the jury is still out!
*I will be using the rar recovery record option on ALL my uploads from now on, but with years of posting and never using that option, i am confused why it is needed now!*
