The Quiz Maker programs offer a quick, easy-to-use and affordable way to prepare and present your tests and quizzes - ready for the Internet or as free-standing executable files for distribution to your students, your friends or business colleagues and customers. In less than 10 minutes you can create and compile your quiz as a .html, .exe or .mht (web archive) file.
The award-winning Quiz Maker programs are the result of more than 10 years' experience in the development and distribution of educational software. They are all mini-authoring kits for the Windows* platform.
At the start of each program, you will immediately see the main build screen. Create the test by filling in the fields and then save your test. To see how it looks in HTML, simply click on the View Quiz button and your well-rendered Web page will be displayed within seconds. There is immediate feedback on the correctness of an answer for the test-takers and, if required, a message with the results can be forwarded directly to your e-mail address. You do not need to know any HTML or JavaScript to create your exercises. If you are familiar with the coding, however, you are free to edit the source files or adjust the templates. The software automatically creates HTML pages with many multimedia options which help you to personalize the learning experience. Additional features include the automatic FTP upload of your quizzes to a web server, one-click compilation of your HTML quizzes into an easy-to-distribute EBook format, and numerous classroom security features such as the option to encode the HTML files or present the quizzes to the user with a time limit or with password protection.
System Requirements
The program runs best with Windows XP, Vista or with Windows 7. It is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit systems.
An up-to-date Internet browser must be installed and JavaScript enabled.
The .NET Framework version 2.0 or better is required.
The program is optimised for a Windows resolution of 1024x768 and HiColor (16 bit). It also operates successfully with higher or lower screen resolutions. It has been tested with both large and normal fonts installed.
