Pacifist - an application that offers packages Mac OS X .pkg, images .dmg files and .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .xar and allows you to remove one individual files or directories. This is useful, for example, when the established system application are damaged or deleted some files. You can get them back in place without having to reinstall the whole system. You can see what files are in the package downloaded from the outside before it is installed in the system.
Pacifist can also check the installed applications for missing or outdated files. Pacifist will help determine how the installer installed in kekstov and they belong or Apple developers. For some types of files it is possible to download a single file from a large archive with HTTP access without having to download the entire archive in its entirety.
