Queensland’s Rob Heyman of Rob Heyman Photography believes that a good photographer with expert skills at digital imaging “can get terrific quality from digital” but you need to be scanning what is good quality photography in the first place. “If you start with something good, you’ll end up with something even better,” says Heyman. However, even those who use digital imaging to achieve fabulous results still shoot some black and white film, simply because it can be difficult for the bride and groom to envision a colour photograph as a black and white shot.
