C.J. Ramone's side project became his full-time gig after the Ramones called it quits.

Los Gusanos' music is hard rock/metal, and is very different than the Ramones. In Los Gusanos, C.J. dropped the surname Ramone and instead used his real last name of Ward.

In March, 2000, Los Gusanos broke up. Among the reasons cited were record company problems, revolving drummers and the departure of guitarist Ed Lynch.

Los Gusanos were:

C.J. Ward - guitar and vocals
"Dirty" Ed Lynch - guitar
"Big John" Chadwick - bass
Adam (Griff) Griffin - drums

Ex-members:

Bo (Lefty) Matheson - drums
Frank "Spanky" Saitta - drums
Eric "Cochise" Arce - drums

Track List:

1. I'd Love To Save The World (*)
2. Keeping Time
3. Know What I Got Here
4. Ride

(*) This is a cover of Ten Years After's "I'd Love to Change The World". Los Gusanos added additional lyrics.

Benefit CD. All proceeds go to the Oglala College. A Native American 4 year college teaching a balance between tradition and progress.
