Normally mellifluous GLAD gets funky on opener "God Is My Redeemer" - very cool! And three of the tunes contain samples from Spectrasonics Liquid Grooves - whoa! But fans, don't worry, with longtime arranger collaborators Bob Kauflin, Paul Langford and Don Nalle the classic GLAD power vocal sound predominates on this collection of mostly covers. Highlights include "O God, My God" and uplifting "Mourning Into Dancing."
