Joanie Madden - A Whistle on the Windmp3 | 320 kbps | 125 mb | 52 min
Genre: New Age, Celtic "My earliest childhood memory is of Irish music sessions in our house. I was always mad for music and my mother could never get me to go to bed whenever there was any kind of hooley taking place at the many house parties that my parents hosted. New York was and still is one of the best hotbeds for traditional Irish music in the world and I was so fortunate to get to hear and play with so many of the greats." ~
Joanie MaddenBorn in the Woodlawn section of The Bronx, New York, Joanie Madden has found her musical inspiration in her ancestral home of Ireland. The first American to win the Senior All-Ireland championship on the tin whistle, Madden is the youngest member inducted into the Irish-American Musicians Hall of Fame. The founder and leader of Cherish the Ladies, a band comprised of first generation Irish-American musicians, Madden has been equally successful on her own.
