Richie Goods & Nuclear Fusion - Three Rivers (2015)

After months in the studio Richie’s new CD, THREE RIVERS, is now available for advance purchase and preview on ITunes. It’s been a labor of love and the final product reflects it. Richie has written six new cuts for this release, including the title cut, Three Rivers and Four Kings, which features Grammy award winning trumpeter, Chris Botti. Some of Richie’s friends have lent their talents, including Sy Smith with her smoldering rendition of “Hope She’ll Be Happier” and Shayna Steele (Snarky Puppy) on “Sightless Bird”. Andy Ezrin, keyboards, Ben Butler, guitar and Billy Kilson, drums create a really palpable nuclear energy, from the frenetic “Three Rivers” to the haunting “Sightless Bird”. Featured on “Mudd Funk” is famed drummer Lil’ John Roberts, noted for his work Stevie Wonder and Neo among many others. Richie includes some of his favorite tunes from his teenage years, including “Shout” and a solo rendition of Imagine. Excited about this new work, Richie says, “it’s finally me-not confined to any particular genre or style, but just free to express and play what I hear in my heart and spirit.” Regardless of your particular taste, you’re sure to find something to love on this CD.
