Excellent album of the great American jazz trombonist Conrad Herwig, who arranges and plays "latin" timeless compositions of the legendary Miles Davis. Herwig and a a brilliant jazz orchestra, played at the famous Blue Note of NYC in December 2003 and this live recording was released in 2004. As Conrad explains in the CD's inlay: "the objective was to reinvent Miles' seminal work within the framework of Afro-Cuban and Afro-Caribbean rhythms". Enjoy a jazz gem in lossless.
