Hailed as “the best concert of the year” by the Baltimore Sun, Sade will release her live DVD/CD and Blu-ray for, “Bring Me Home – Live 2011” on May 22nd. In 2011, after a 10 year hiatus, Sade returned to the U.S. for a 54-date tour in support of the platinum selling album Soldier Of Love (Epic Records), which became one of last year’s top 10 grossing tours.
The tour, directed by the renowned Sophie Muller, will now be available on DVD/CD, featuring 22 of Sade’s biggest hits performed live on the visually stunning stage which was nominated by Pollstar for “Most Creative Stage Production” and “2011 Major Tour of the Year Award.” Sade also grants fans a rare, all access look behind-the-scenes with a 20-minute documentary film shot by Sophie Muller, as well as a technical documentary by Stuart Matthewman, and outtakes from the crew.
Hailed for its intimate vibe, eye-catchin production, and dazzling imagery, this DVD/CD is undeniably a ‘must-have’ for the ultimate Sade fan!
Reviews: I had the opportunity to see this concert last year in Austin, TX and it was an amazing experience! I literally didn't want the concert to end. I was in the 9th row, directly centered in front of the stage which was excellent seating. The concert was set up to be up close and personal. Everything from the lighting, background video, audio and overall visuals were done in way that's indescribable. It totally took my husband's and mine breath away! I believe the lighting at this show was the best I've seen at any concert. The lighting and audio crew did an magnificent job! The music, background video used for songs, lighting and Sade were totally in sync with each other. The concert had a very romantic feel to it.
I absolutely love this band. It was really nice seeing Paul, Andrew and Stuart back together again! These three gentlemen on guitar, piano, and saxaphone will literally take your breath away! The guys performing background vocals were also phenomenal! I was totally in awe throughout the concert and had to pinch myself to make sure I was actually there! Sade looked beautiful and her voice was nothing short of pure greatness. She performed all her classics as well as her new material. After attending this spectacular show, I already knew that if and when it came out on Blue-ray, I was going to purchase it immediately because it was literally one of the best nights of my life!
