This CD, produced by Carl E. Jefferson and Tito himself, was recorded in May 1985 in California and in 1986 won the Grammy award for 'Best Traditional Tropical Latin Album'. It is pure Latin jazz. The record is sufficient to show among other qualities the versatility of Tito going from the timbales to vibes and arranging themes of classic jazz. Tito integrates his Latin group, octyet format, with Sonny Bravo (piano), Jimmy Frisaura and Ray Gonzalez (trumpet, horn and trombone), Joseph Wood (congas), Mario Rivera (sax and flute), Bobby Rodriguez (bass) and 'Dandy' Rodriguez (percussion).
