Since globally debuting in 1990 with the German label IC DIGIT, Hiroki Okano has released some 17 solo albums. In that time Okano has become known as one of Japan’s premier new age & ambient artists. Okano continues to be very active on the global stage and has performed at a number of large scale international events such as the Fuji Rock Festival, Rainbow 2000 and particularly the Glastonbury Festival in the UK where he has performed for over 10 years (initially through collaboration with Dave Goodman, producer of the SEX PISTOLS). More recently Okano has been composing and performing solo concerts on the theme of “Earth Resonance”, in 2013 performing at the UNESCO world heritage Boudhanath Temple in Nepal.
