Surfing in Internet, by chance I have found the website of Luigi Mangiocavallo, a violinist who has been called to be part of Orchestra of 18th Century conducted by Frans Brüggen, of Capella Reial de Catalunya conducted by Jordi Savall, La Petit Band conducted by Sigiswald Kuijken and of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra conducted by Ton Koopman, making tour in Europe, USA and Japan.

In 1989 and 1990, he recorded two sets of sonatas for violin and bass by Francesco Maria Veracini and Francesco Antonio Bonporti, with Claudio Ronco (Cello) and Marco Mencoboni (Harpsichord).
As records are no longer available to the public because not distributed on the market for a long time, they think about the value that performances may still have for many music lovers, therefore they decided to give the opportunity to listen to them. They keep the privilege to do so freely, without intermediaries, thanks to the web.

I have uploaded their 2 CD to RS, so the download is faster than from website of Mangiocavallo.

In my opinion, the trio's performance is the really very good.

Luigi Mangiocavallo in his website writes:

1989 and 1990, in those years we recorded two sets of sonatas for violin and bass by Francesco Maria Veracini and Francesco Antonio Bonporti.
Among the most important violinists of the XVIII century, the two Italian musicians suffered a lack on the international discographic market, with no release of some importance.
We then decided to approach first those forgotten works.
Hence, we started an intensive work of reading and understanding, fed by our sensitivities and experiences. Relevant point was the fact that we all were involved at the forefront of research into historical performing practice that we were constantly applying with original instruments since many years.
The ideas and the musical choices were the multifaceted and unpredictable result of both contrasts and synergies in all phases of work. From the artistic to the technical aspect of the recording and editing, we treated directly every single detail.
So much effort was not paid equally by the publisher. The amount of CDs sold was poor and advertising almost non-existent. On the contrary, reviews and feedback didn't save enthusiastic words.
Many years later, albeit in the limited areas that the market normally reserve to "minor" instrumental music, recordings of Veracini's works for violin abound, so that we can finally note a sort of small rediscovery of the brilliant, although irritable composer. Should we assign to us the credit for this revival, because of our primacy? Let forget it. However, no sin of vain in being honored, so to speak, for our little contribution to the musical culture.
Regarding the other composer, the situation appears rather different. Lacking yet, the catalogue of Bonporti. Should we also establish the primacy that we still are the only ones to have dedicated an entire CD to his remarkable last Opus XII? But is not important and let forget it once more.
However, we must note that, currently our records are no longer available to the public because not distributed on the market for a long time. All this raises them to some value. It certainly is for us. They represent an important moment of our artistic careers, that later took different directions where life has led, bringing all the memories of the case. However, we think about the value that performances may still have for many music lovers, therefore we decided to give the opportunity to listen to them. We keep the privilege to do so freely, without intermediaries, thanks to the web
