From allmusic:
Review by JT Griffith
Tone Loc's "Funky Cold Medina" and the Beastie Boys' "Brass Monkey" are two of the funniest songs about drinking. This single to Tone Loc's second best-known song contains four versions: the vocal version, the funky beats, an instrumental, and the funky a cappella. "The Funky Beats" is a very short rhythmic instrumental about as funky as Mark "Mad Dog" Madsen. The instrumental simply strips the song of Tone Loc's distinctive voice and puts it on the disc as an a cappella version, which sounds like a bad demo. Hillarious, outdated commercial reference: "I got every dog in my neighborhood breaking down my door/Spuds Mackenzie, Alex from Stroh's." "Funky Cold Medina" is a fun, silly song, but this single is a waste. Trivia note: "Funky Cold Medina" and Tone Loc's smash hit "Wild Thing" were both co-written by Young MC.

From wikipedia:

Song Samplings
This song contains samples from six songs, "Honky Tonk Women" by The Rolling Stones, "Hot Blooded" by Foreigner (whose guitar riff dominates the song), "Christine Sixteen" by Kiss, "All Right Now" by Free, "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet" by Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and the introduction to "Get Off Your Ass and Jam" by Funkadelic (from which the drum break during the song's bridge is derived).

Cocktail
Funky Cold Medina is also the name of an alcoholic beverage consisting of 1 oz Absolut Vodka, 1 oz Southern Comfort peach liqueur, 1 oz
Blue Curacao liqueur per serving, topped with cranberry juice and ice.

This is what I do in general. Not every step is done for all rips:
LP > Rega P1 with Ortofon Super 30 > TC-750LC > E-Mu 0202 > Adobe Audition 3 (AA) @ 96kHz 32bit float > Manual click removal in AA > Click

Repair set @ 20 > AA used to balance L/R > (for MONO: Equalizer (from the ClickRepair guy) used to combine L+R >) AA to split tracks, fade

in/out, and for manual click removal >

for 24bit: use AA to truncate the 32bit file >
for 16bit: Izoptope RX Advanced to resample the 32bit file to 44.1kHz > and then to dither to`16bit using MBIT+ >

All > Trader's Little Helper to FLAC and (for 16bit: sector align if necessary, pad) > MP3 Tagger to edit tags.

"16bit" = 16bit at 44.1kHz
"24bit" = 24bit at 96kHz
