After the Event Book 1 was a good beginning in a series. I was a little on the fence about reading it after seeing some negative reviews but after reading Book 1, I think the reader failed to see the depth of the characters or the efforts of the author to create believable characters warts and all. Being a first in the series, it made me want to read the next book, so well done, T.A. Williams. I did find a few errors that could be corrected by a good line edit but it wasn’t enough to make me throw up my hands in frustration… so there. Read on. Book 2, The Remnants was eve better.
