One of my favorite authors, she's still coming up with interesting and new plots. I did get a little tired of re-reading the "angst" of the hero/heroine every few chapters, but I loved how believable she made Bijou. I could so sympathize with her childhood, and it was very believable to me that every one thinks of her as being "haughty" when in reality she was shy and unsure. And who doesn't want to be loved for themselves?
Of course, Remi is the sexy bossy hot as a cajun night hero, and he lives up to all expectations. Finding one bad guy after another to protect his "Blue" (which I admit, I loooove his nickname for her). Usually I can figure out who the bad guy is, before the unveiling in the book, but this time, even though I suspected him, MsFeehan did an excellent job of covering it up, and making me think that I was mistaken who it was. (She sure fooled me) :)
