The characters are as delightfully quirky as ever, particularly Darla’s sidekick Jake, and Hamlet is in rare sleuthing form. It seems as if it gets better with each successive volume, a tribute to Brandon’s writing skills. This series has everything one would want, thrills, chills, and a detective cat! Who could ask for more???
