3D Touch is an innovative UI tool provided with iOS 9. It allows the touch screens on iPhones 6s and 6s Plus to register pressure sensitivity. Programming your apps to respond to 3D Touch opens a whole new dimension of interactivity; for example, developers can vary the thickness of a stroke in a paint program, or access context-sensitive menus based on the pressure of the user's touch. In this course, Tammy Coron walks through the 3D Touch API. She shows how to add static and dynamic quick actions, which allow you to display shortcuts for app-specific tasks.
