Go from no programming knowledge to building a mobile responsive website that looks good on any device with HTML & CSS

This course is structured to teach the absolute beginner the skills he/she needs to build their very first website. Course contains over 35 lectures and quizzes to help with retention.

Things we will be going over in this course:

HTML5
CSS3
Twitter Bootstrap
Mailchimp
The web has changed a lot in recent years and now it is an absolute MUST that websites are built to be responsive to the screen size of the device the site is being viewed on. That is why in this course we focus heavily on a mobile responsive design to make sure that users have a great experience regardless if they are using a desktop, tablet or mobile phone.

This course will first introduce you to HTML, which stands for Hyper Text Markup Langauge. HTML is the most fundamental part of learning to build websites because this is what web browers read to display content to a web page.

Next we will learn CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets. As the name implies, this is how we style our webpages to make them attractive and unique. After we are familiar with CSS we will use a library called Twitter Bootstrap which enables us to style our website quicker and also ensure that our site is mobile responsive!

By the end of this course you will have built your very first webpage and will even have been introduced to some email marketing using Mailchimp.
