The series of two instructional discs introduces the eighty-eight movements of the Wu Style Taijiquan Form. Refined and elegant, Wu Style Taijiquan is characterized by compact, circular and agile movements. In this outstanding performance, the distinctive "slanted but straight" feature of the Wu style is evident in the polished forms demonstrated by Master Luo. "Hands as ilssom as willow branches bending to touch the water and torso as solid as a long steel bridge", the beauty of the continuously flowing motions of Wu style Taiji is exquisitely epressed throughout the performance.
Both the novice and experienced student will find these DVDs useful as study guides.
Disk One demonstrates the entire form and includes a slide show demo illustrating angles and directions of movements.
Disk Two is a step-by-step instruction of each of the eighty-eight movements. Two camera angles are utilized in the instruction.
