The fourth edition of Heterocyclic Chemistry retains its original aims and flavour, thus maintaining the principal objective of earlier editions - to teach the fundamentals of heterocyclic reactivity and synthesis in a way that is understandable to second- and third-year undergraduate chemistry students.
