Visit to the Dornier Museum at Meersburg in 1973 and again in 1982 started my interest in Dornier aircraft and today they are still to the forefront of the aerospace industry. The company has always been innovative and over the last seventy years produced aircraft whitch many other more conservative firms would not have dared to manufacture. The company is proud of its past and is trying to collect and exhibit as many of its products as possible, which makes it almost unique in Europe.
