In January 2008 Marvel launched a new Hulk title, written by Jeph Loeb and drawn by Ed McGuinness. It features the debut of a new, Red Hulk, created by long-time supporting cast members of the title character, to combat, neutralize and ultimately destroy the uncontrollable Hulk. The Red Hulk is absolutely uninhibited and tactically intelligent, the anti-thesis of the Hulk. In trying to make sense of why is there a Red Hulk and all those other Hulk family members (I think writer Jeph Loeb is taking his sweet time to weave the various layers of the storylines together to their promised potential, or to flesh out whatever it is he has in mind since he places so much emphasis on extended slam-bang action sequences but I won't say it--uh-oh!), I collected the complete Hulk (Vol. 2 in library terms; Vol. 1 ran from April 1999–February 2000 for eleven issues) up to the present--and latest--issue, together with all the one-shots I could get my hands on. I think what I have is complete, but if not, please let me know. With the exception of issues #4-6 (which are themselves excellent Green Giant scans), all are Minutemen scans. And aside from issues #1-3 and the four one-shots, all others have multiple covers. As usual I have sorted the issues according to story arcs and made them into single-download RAR archives. I'll present the links in the suggested reading order as found in the contents list below. Issues seven through nine of the title are "split books", witdh two stories by Loeb, with Adams providing artwork for the first featuring the Green Hulk and Cho the second, featuring the Red Hulk. By the way, I include here because after issue #12, this landmark 600th issue was released, with the story directly tied in to the Hulk Vol. 2 continuity. The Hulk book then continued with issue #13. The Incredible Hulk book also continued with #601 onwards where Banner's relationship with his son Skaar is explored. Issue #18 (Dec 16, 2009) serves as prologue to the new storyline "Fall of the Hulks" which, as per solicitations found in marvel.com, will be a lead-up to a major crossover, . Issue #19, released just last Jan 20, 2010, carries the "Fall of the Hulks" story officially started in Incredible Hulk #606 (released just a tad ahead of Hulk #19) at a brisk pace. As for the other one-shots, I'll place them last with the links also in chronological order of release.
This is it! The Fall of The Hulks begins here. The opening round: THE RED HULK VS. THE THING with Reed Richards' life at stake. When the Baxter Building is attacked by the all-new, all-deadly Frightful Four, who will save the Fantastic Four? How about THE RED HULK? Not a chance. The superstar team of JEPH LOEB and ED McGUINNESS shotgun this mindblowing chapter of the biggest Hulkventure of them all. --
